Arjan Visser (1961) won his first literary prize in 1991 for a short story and this made his name. He works as a journalist for many publications, including Trouw, theVARAgids and Vrij Nederland, among others. Visser created the popular interview series De tien gebodenfor Trouw. For almost ten years, he has been interviewing people using questions based on the ten commandments. The journalist made his literary debut in 2003. The novel De laatste dagen (Augustus, 2003) was nominated for the AKO Literature Prize and awarded the Anton Wachter Prize and the Geertjan Lubberhuizen Prize. To honour the 500th Tien Gebodeninterview, Visser published his latest book in October, titled 1 interviewer – 10 geboden – 100 schrijvers (1 Interviewer – 10 Commandments – 100 Writers) (Atlas Contact, 2018). Arjan will be interviewing the director Koen Mortier at the ILFU.
