The multi-talented Ellen ten Damme (1967) first tried to study Dutch to then attend the pre-educational course at the conservatory and finally receive her diploma from the Amsterdam Theatre School. Ten Damme had just turned twenty when she released her first single and now has six solo albums to her name. Meanwhile, she performed with the band Soviet Sexook and played a range of television and theatre roles. Ten Damme takes the theatricality involved with performing to the stage. According to De Theaterkrant, “[she] knows how to make every event a spectacle with her musical talent and unstoppable energy.” At the Anna Karenina Gala, the multi award-winning musician will perform songs she found especially for Anna Karenina.
