Kevin Toma (1974) has always been interested in film. After completing his degree in Film and Performance Art in Nijmegen, he started as a reviewer at the Filmkrant. He then worked as a web editor for Cinema.nland since 2007, Toma has been working as a film journalist at De Volkskrant. Alongside writing about films, the journalist also plays music for silent films. He has composed many of these pieces himself. With his extensive film knowledge, Toma is the perfect choice to present film lectures. At the Anna Karenina Gala Night, he will briefly summarise how the different adaptations of Tolstoy’s classic bring Anna to life in different ways.
