Noa Wildschut (2001) has been called a violin child prodigy. At the age of six she appeared at the Children’s Prinsengracht Concert, aged seven she made her debut in the main hall of Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and she began studying at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Over the years, Noa has developed a considerable reputation and is regularly invited to festivals, recitals and solo performances with orchestras, both in the Netherlands and abroad. She has performed with inspiring musicians such as Janine Jansen, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Menahem Pressler, Quirine Viersen, Arthur and Lucas Jussen. In recent years Noa has performed as a duo with pianist and festival organiser Yoram Ish-Hurwitz. Noa won the International Louis Spohr Competition for Young Violinists in 2010, the first prize at the Iordens Violin Competition in 2012 and the Concertgebouw Young Talent Award in 2013. She will be appearing at the Dutch Poetry Night for the first time this year.
