Tim Hofman (1988) just fell into a career in television. His real passion has always been poetry, as he says so himself. Hofman is better known as a presenter on BNN and regularly contributes to De Wereld Draait Door. However, he also wrote columns for Nieuwe Revu and made his debut in 2017 with the collection Gedichten van de broer van Roos (Poems by Roos’ brother), which was a huge sales success. The poetry collection is bursting with jokes and amazing puns, although Hofman isn’t afraid to tackle more serious topics. “You can clearly see how much he loves language in everything he does and also how much he enjoys playing with language,” according to NRC Handelsblad. Together with Nhung Dam and Raoul de Jong, he is co-author of 3PAK, the Boekenweekgeschenk voor jongeren (Book Week Gift for Young People), which will be presented at the ILFU.
